My name is Min Thu Naing and I’m from Myanmar. It would be my honour to share my recent internship experience as an international student at NIM. I joined NIM in 2022 taking the course- Advanced Diploma in Built Environment Engineering. Despite the challenges in securing a role in Singapore’s engineering sector, Ms. Thong and NIM’s dedicated efforts enabled me to secure an internship as a Modeller. The practical experience and exposure to real-world projects have proven invaluable, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to industry-relevant situations. The multicultural work environment has not only enhanced my professional skills but also broadened my perspective within the engineering field.

 

In conclusion, this internship has been a pivotal milestone in my academic and professional journey, equipping me with the skills and confidence necessary for success in the global workforce.
