Course Objective
The degree promotes the critical application of theory to current and past practice with infants, young children and families. Integral to the degree is holistic knowledge and understanding of the ecology of child development in the context of the family, community and wider socio-political contexts. The degree remains embedded within a socio-cultural perspective towards children, families and their wider communities and in particular the interrelatedness of children’s development and learning as culturally and biologically determined.

DELIVERY ASSESSMENTS & AWARDS
Note: The course has not been accredited by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), the effect of which is that the course will not be recognised as a professional qualification required for the registration of pre-school teachers in Singapore. This condition will be in effect until such time that the PEI provides evidence to SSG that the course has been officially accredited by ECDA.
