Welcoming a Bright Start to 2025: NIM’s January Orientation
The dawn of a new year brings fresh opportunities, and at Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM), it’s no different. The campus came alive as new students arrived for the much-anticipated Orientation Week. Designed to help students transition smoothly into their academic journey, the event was a vibrant mix of learning, fun, and connection-building.
The day began with a warm welcome from the NIM leadership team. In their opening addresses, faculty members emphasized the institute’s commitment to nurturing academic excellence, personal growth, and global readiness. Students were introduced to the diverse range of programmes offered at NIM, from business, logistics, tourism and hospitality to engineering and early childhood education, showcasing the institute’s dedication to meeting industry needs. The orientation also featured workshops that covered essential topics like time management, academic expectations, and fire safety.
Icebreaker activities kicked off the schedule, encouraging students to leave their comfort zones and connect with peers from various cultural backgrounds.
