Shaping Future Leaders: NIM's Journey to Youth Leadership Summit 2024
NIM is proud to participate in this ASEAN-China-India Youth Leadership Summit 2024, which aligns with their commitment to nurturing future leaders who value cross-cultural understanding, innovation and sustainability.
Students from NIM joined peers from over 12 countries across the ASEAN, China, and India region. The summit, held today on 1st October 2024, brought together over 5,000 youth to explore the intersection of cutting-edge innovation and sustainability.
The summit’s central theme, “Reimagine: Eco-Cities,” encouraged participants to conceptualize futuristic, sustainable cities. Through workshops, panel discussions, and the sustainability Startathon, which covers a wide range of topics, including design thinking, urban planning, clean energy, and AI sustainability. Students actively engaged in these booths showcasing different dialogues, contributing innovative ideas to real-world environmental challenges.
Attending this summit was an enriching experience that extended beyond the classroom to a real-world exposure. The event fostered global networking, exposed them to sustainability experts, and honed their leadership skills.
As NIM students return to their studies, they bring with them valuable insights and experiences that will shape their roles as future leaders committed to a more sustainable and innovative world.
