Resume Workshop by Haloes: Empowering Students to Shine
Nanyang Institute of Management post-graduate students recently participated in a dynamic resume workshop organised by Haloed, designed to help them stand out in today’s competitive job market. The session introduced the innovative Haloed app, which allows users to transform traditional resumes into engaging video resumes that tell their story, highlight their skills, and showcase their personality.
The workshop featured a strong hands-on component, where students actively created their own video resumes under the guidance of industry experts. Professionals from Haloed and ITEL Learning Systems were present to offer one-on-one mentoring, providing personalised feedback on both content and presentation style.
In addition to technical skills, students also learned valuable tips on how to conduct themselves during interviews and while presenting on video—covering posture, tone, confidence, and clarity. This comprehensive workshop not only boosted students’ digital presence but also strengthened their self-presentation skills, equipping them to make a memorable first impression.
