NIM welcomes International Training and Education Development (ITED)

Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) proudly hosted a dynamic program with the International Training and Education Development (ITED). This 10-day programme is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange on Singapore’s approach to Urban Planning, Development, and Local Government Management. The event brought together leaders, educators, and participants to engage in insightful discussions and meaningful interactions.

The agreement underscores shared goals, including the development of joint academic programs, educational field trips, and the promotion of intercultural exchange. By uniting expertise and resources, the partnership is set to address emerging global challenges and equip students with skills for the evolving workforce. 

The day began with a warm welcome from NIM’s President, Dr. Zhang Xuwei, who delivered a welcoming speech, followed by an opening speech delivered by NIM’s Vice President,  Mr. Craig Albrightson, and not forgetting the welcome speech from the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, gave his speech regarding a brief introduction on Lang Son, Vietnam, while sharing his gratitude towards NIM for support, consultation, Training and Economic Development, and assistance.

NIM Vice President, Mr.Craig Albrightson, provided his opening speech which included emphasizing NIM’s student-centric approach.

A symbolic gift exchange between leaders reinforced the spirit of collaboration.

NIParticipants then delved into a thought-provoking lecture, on International Trends and Singapore’s Management Experiences in Planning and Construction, facilitated by NIM’s Director of Career Service Centre/Assistant Dean, Ms.Thong who shared valuable insights and best practices.

As a hub for education and growth, NIM continues to strengthen its position on the global stage, inspiring students to achieve excellence and contribute meaningfully and sustainably to society. This event is a testament to NIM’s commitment to creating a global learning environment and fostering meaningful international relations.
