NIM Signs MOU with People’s Committee of Lang Son Province

Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen from People’s Committee of Lang Son Province, Vietnam, strengthening international academic ties and expanding opportunities for international students.

The signing ceremony, held at NIM’s campus, was graced by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (Head of the Delegation), and Dr. Zhang Xuwei, President of NIM. Both leaders delivered insightful speeches emphasizing the importance of education in shaping future generations and the value of cross-border collaboration.

The MOU, signed at NIM’s campus, aims to enhance student mobility, academic collaboration, and joint initiatives between the two institutions, facilitating student exchange programmes, faculty cooperation, and research opportunities, reflecting NIM’s ongoing commitment to global education. Both sides’ representatives expressed enthusiasm about the agreement, emphasizing the benefits of cross-border learning experiences.

Following the MOU signing, the delegations from People’s Committee of Lang Son Province had the opportunity to tour NIM’s campus, experiencing firsthand the vibrant learning environment and modern facilities. They interacted with students, observed classroom activities, and gained insights into the programs offered.

A highlight of the visit was meeting with Vietnamese students currently studying at NIM. The delegation exchanged thoughts with them about their academic journey and experiences in Singapore. They also took memorable group photos, capturing the spirit of friendship and collaboration between the two institutions.
