Nanyang Institute of Management welcome you!

In a landmark development for cross-cultural and educational exchange, China and Singapore have set a new precedent by implementing a mutual visa exemption for ordinary passport holders starting February 9, 2024. This groundbreaking agreement facilitates more accessible travel for tourism, family visits, and business ventures, allowing citizens of both countries to stay for up to 30 days without a visa.

While streamlining travel for personal matters, this policy does not extend to activities requiring prior approval, such as employment or journalism, nor does it apply to stays exceeding 30 days. Individuals with such needs must still adhere to the standard visa application procedures.

The Nanyang Institute of Management, situated in the heart of Singapore’s dynamic cityscape, stands to benefit significantly from this development. Singapore’s role as an international education and cultural exchange hub, known for its diverse and inclusive academic environment, has become more accessible to international students aspiring for global perspectives and quality education.

The Nanyang Institute of Management, with its first-rate educational offerings, provides a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a multicultural learning environment. The new visa exemption policy, though limited to short stays, opens doors for students to explore Singapore and the Nanyang Institute of Management firsthand. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the campus, experience the academic culture, and participate in classes before deciding on their overseas education journey.

As the visa-free policy takes effect, the Nanyang Institute of Management eagerly anticipates welcoming Chinese students and parents, encouraging them to leverage this opportunity to attend open days and immerse themselves in the campus experience. This initiative is not merely an administrative convenience but signifies a more profound commitment to fostering educational and cultural ties. The influx of Chinese students is expected to infuse new perspectives and vitality into the institute, offering them a platform to unleash their potential and pursue their dreams.

The Nanyang Institute of Management looks forward to embracing this new era of openness and connectivity, confident that the China-Singapore visa-free policy will catalyze enriching cultural and educational exchange.
