Nanyang Institute of Management Announces Special Study Grant for Myanmar Students

In response to the recent earthquake that has devastated several regions in Myanmar, Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) has stepped forward with a compassionate initiative to support affected students.

As part of our commitment to standing with the affected communities, NIM is donating SGD 1,500 to aid in relief efforts, providing urgent support to those impacted. In addition, we have also organised a cash donation drive, allowing our community to come together and extend further assistance to those in need.

Supporting Education in Times of Crisis

The earthquake has caused significant hardship, disrupting lives and access to education. To further assist students from these regions, NIM is offering a Special Study Grant* of SGD 1,000 to eligible students from the earthquake-affected areas who are applying for the 2025 intakes.

Recognising the challenges faced by these students, this grant reflects our dedication to fostering education and rebuilding futures, even in times of crisis.

Eligibility and Application

The grant is available to new applicants who:

  • Are residents of these affected regions: Sagaing, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, Pyin Ma Nar, Aungpan, and Taungoo.
  • And are applying for any 2025 intake programmes at NIM.

This additional financial support aims to ease the burden on students and their families, enabling them to pursue higher education despite the adversity they face.

For more information about the Special Study Grant or the application process, prospective students and partners are advised to contact NIM directly at +(65) 8030 6328 or email us at contact@nanyang.edu.sg .
