Mid-Autumn Merriment: A Festive Fiesta of Laughter and Fun!
This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival was a spectacular celebration filled with laughter, camaraderie, and exciting activities! With limited entry and a lineup of engaging games, our campus transformed into a festive hub where students could unwind and enjoy.
The event featured a variety of fun challenges, all designed to bring students together and celebrate the spirit of the festival. From vibrant decorations to the buzz of excitement, the atmosphere was electric!
Here’s a glimpse of the games we offered that helped make it all possible:
Challenging the student’s observation skills with the Find the Rabbits Challenge.
A game of precision and focus with Pierce the Moon Challenge
Flexing those chopstick skills in the HotPot Moon in just 1 min
Look at that teamwork and flexibility involved in keeping that hoop moving with Hula Hoop Passing Game
With the efforts of all the committees, the games were thoughtfully planned ahead of time, drawing inspiration from elements of the Mid-Autumn Festival like mooncakes, and lanterns associated with the theme. This led to clever puns names associated with each challenge. For instance, the “HotPotMoon” involved scooping condiments from a pot, a game of archery with ‘Pierce’ the Moon.

The event lasted two hours and featured five game stations where students could showcase their skills. Each participant received a game card to track their progress, with stamps awarded for successful completions.

After a long and tormentous challenge, the students successfully navigated their way through each game and our panel of judges are left to judge the winner based on who completed all the games listed in the shortest time possible. Blue stickers indicated that they’ve successfully passed the games, the green sticker signified that they have not completed the game within the given time period. The games were not just about skills or luck.
The panels sorted out the tickets by criteria, and the winner had been selected:
On the Left: Craig Albrightson, Vice President and winner on the right, Zhang Rui Hua
