Hanyang Women’s University Students Experience Day 1 of Hospitality Excellence at NIM

Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) proudly welcomes exchange students from Hanyang Women’s University, Korea, for an immersive hospitality study tour in Singapore.

The students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Craig Albrightson, NIM Vice President, who delivered a heartfelt speech.

This was followed by an engaging opening address from Mr. Raymond Khoo, Dean of the School of Tourism & Hospitality and Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions.

Ms. Rachel, Senior Manager of Student Recruitment & Admissions department provided the students with an overview of their schedules, warmly welcoming the students and preparing them for the 11-day programme ahead.

The student’s first NIM experience commenced with Ms. Nisa leading the first lecture, focusing on General English sessions.

This dynamic programme will blend practical workshops, interactive lectures, and cultural activities to prepare students for global hospitality careers.

Key highlights of their exchange programme will include Hospitality English training, hands-on food & beverage sessions like cocktail-making and table setting, and real-world front office operations using industry-standard tools. Additionally, the students will be exposed to workshops on grooming, social etiquette, and career skills ensure students leave with both professional expertise and confidence.

We hope this collaboration provides students with valuable global insights and skills, preparing them for success in the hospitality industry, while allowing them to enjoy a memorable experience at NIM and in Singapore.

For more updates, stay connected with NIM as we continue to expand our global network.
