Another Round of Connections and Memories: Orientation 2025
Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) buzzed with excitement as new students gathered for another round of orientation. More than just a formal introduction, the day was designed to blend information, bonding, and fun—setting the stage for a meaningful year ahead.
The orientation kick-started with a lively registration, where students collected their t-shirts and geared up for the day, followed by a welcome speech by Mr. Craig Albrightson, which set an inspiring tone for the day.
In line with NIM’s commitment to holistic student development, there were also introductions to Student Services, Campus Operations, extra English classes, Career Services, and the Student Council’s role. These sessions gave students a broader view of the opportunities awaiting them with the support systems and resources available at NIM, not just academically but also in personal growth and leadership.
The afternoon was where the energy truly peaked. Students participated in engaging activities that tested creativity, teamwork, and quick thinking. ‘Draw on the back’ brought lots of laughter as students tried to pass along simple drawings using only touch, often ending in hilarious misinterpretations.
The orientation wrapped up by immortalizing the day’s laughter, teamwork, and newfound friendships. It was about building trust, creating bonds, and empowering students to step into their campus life with confidence. By the end of the day, participants didn’t just walk away with information—they left with memories, connections, and a shared excitement for what lies ahead.
