NIM marks new beginnings with an opening ceremony

NIM relocation to a more vibrant, contemporary, and environmentally sustainable campus

Today marks the beginning of a journey filled with new opportunities, challenges, and achievements. NIM is honoured to gather agents and its staff from various countries to join us in celebrating the start of this exciting adventure.

NIM new campus is located strategically in the central business district that has a whole range of restaurants, hotels, entertainment spots, and retail shops. NIM CEO Dr Zhang Xu Wei reaffirms our commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience that nurtures the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of every student. We will also actively improve and enrich our programs by partnering with high-ranked university partners for a greater range of education opportunities.

Mr Han Jun, Education Counsellor from China Embassy, congratulated NIM on its expansion and hope NIM can take this relocation as a new start, by capitalizing on the strong relationship between China and Singapore to continuously improve the quality of education and teaching as well as its international reputation and serve as a role model of China-Singapore educational exchanges and cooperation.

Multiple partnerships with limitless opportunities

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by NIM and China Enterprises Association (Singapore), Singrass Pte Ltd as well as Singcham Alumni.

Through the partnership with China Enterprises Association (Singapore), NIM students and staff will be able to attend its seminars and network among its member. Above all, students would have job placement opportunities. These collaborations will see NIM students benefit to be hired by China Enterprises in Singapore, that include, China Construction (South Pacific) Development Pte Ltd, Bank of China Singapore Branch and China Insurance Pte Ltd amongst others.

The collaboration with Singrass Pte Ltd highlights the NIM’s commitment to environmental sustainability, we aim to create a green and sustainable campus that provides a visually appealing and conducive study and work environment for various stakeholders.

Next, SingCham Alumni have also provided a platform for NIM students to interact and received guidance from experienced members who have work experience in China. This would greatly benefit those seeking to further their businesses or careers in and out of China.

Academic Advisory Committee

The Academic Advisory Committee comprises of Professor Zhou Weiguo, Mr Louis Luo, Dr Sam Man Keong as well as Dr Mamata Bhandar. The Committee would provide guidance on NIM future academic development. It is hoped that the Committee members’ involvement and expertise will mold NIM into a world-class educational institution.

In closing, we hope that through the school infrastructure, curriculum expansion, and range of cooperation, we are able to bring NIM to greater heights.
