NIM Guidance and Counselling Centre

NIM has a Guidance & Counselling Centre to assists students to resolve personal difficulties and acquires skills, attitudes, and resources necessary to succeed at NIM and to pursue productive and satisfying lives after NIM.
 

NIM Guidance & Counselling Centre strives to contribute to the overall education mission of NIM by facilitating in the following four main domains.

  • 1.  Personal—to understand and appreciate oneself
    2.  Social—to relate effectively to others
    3.  Educational—to develop appropriate educational plans
    4.  Career – to develop life and career plans

Guidance and Counselling Team 
 

NIM strives to provide holistic care for our students – to gain balance in the various aspects of physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual development.  The Guidance and Counselling Team consist of senior staff to assist students in the four main domains listed above.

Experience:   Student counselling, career and development services at MOE schools and private education institutions in Singapore.  Counsellor volunteer with at-risk youths at halfway house in New York City.

Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 8:30 am - 5 pm
